Jen Basik Design

Jen Basik graduated with a BFA from the University of Georgia and quickly after graduating, she was able to begin her journey of interior design and sharing her passion with others. With over 25 years of design experience, Jen has been able to help numerous clients from all around the country. Having been a military wife and relocating multiple times, Jen was fortunate enough to work in different markets such as VA, TX, CO, FL, and now in both North and South Carolina. For this first step, you will be asked a few simple questions to get to know you and define what style you have or will want. We will discuss any questions or concerns you may have for the project and what your goals are for it. From there we will create a timeline for the project. This is a complimentary inquiry call to define the project. Once we agree to move forward, the in-home consultation will be scheduled.

Here, Jen will develop a custom plan for your space by incorporating layouts, furnishings, paint colors, fabric selections, etc. to create the vision you have for your space. Based on the information that was gathered during our initial call, sourcing will be happening from various trade vendors as well as local shopping. This allows us to be creative with the budget and allow sourcing from all over. Sourcing will begin after the in-home consultation and presented to client using Pinterest boards and final mood boards.

Once all the items and overall design plan have been approved, items will be ordered, tracked, and scheduled for delivery. This will include any trade services that have been scheduled while we wait on all your beautiful items to arrive. This typically will take around 4-6 weeks depending on availability, production of custom ordered pieces, and fabrication.

This is the most fun part of the project. Your space gets transformed. All the final details will be taken care of with the option of selecting last minute items that will create the finishing touch to the space.

Refresh and Styling

Have a space that has most of the furniture but just needs the finishing touches to complete the room? This package offers pieces that can be “added” to existing furnishings which will enhance the space and create a new “updated” look. By adding new lighting, rugs, pillows, or other accessories, a room can look completely transformed with the original pieces being used. This can be done from online ordering or local shopping based on the budget. A styling and decorating day will then be set up to change the space from ordinary to extraordinary!
